John Jordan Hollow Forms Workshop
March 10, 2018 –
World class wood turner John Jordan will offer a hands-on workshop giving training and insight into his techniques for making embellished hollow forms. The Tennessee resident is internationally known and honored for his wood turnings.
If you are interested in learning hollow form turning techniques and to see one of the pioneering artists in this discipline, this is one of your four opportunities to participate.
This workshop, entitled “Hollow Form Turning and Artistry,” will be limited to 8 participants. There will be at least six hours of instruction, during which you will be able to learn or enhance your hollow form turning skills and learn Jordan’s methods of enhancing the piece to its highest art form. Hollowing tools will be available for those who do not have their own, but basic turning skills (handling a bowl gouge) is a required prerequisite.
Cost for the one-day workshop is $100. Contact VP for Training Jamie Straw to sign up.
