Fees

As of January 2025, class fees are:
Member-- $40.00 plus material (usually $10.00 can be more or less)
Nonmember--$40.00 plus material (usually $10.00 can be more or less) plus $30.00 (membership fee) .
Nonmembers must join the club to be covered by insurance, onetime fee is good for a year's membership.
Nonmembers may go to New Member Signup and join, pay dues and then register for class as member. This will enter you in database and if you take a class again it will let you register as a member.
Members with expired memberships will also have to renew or pay nonmember fees, which will renew your dues if I catch it and forward it to the membership person. so please renew before signing up.
Material cost will be included in registration fee so no hidden costs.
The instructor may at times have items for sale at the class (dyes, kits or wood) these are optional and not required for the class.
If the class is full, sign up and get on the waiting list, if enough interest is shown the class will be repeated and waiting list people get first choice  to register.

Cancellations

When a class is canceled by the West Side Improvement Club, OPCAAW, instructor or weather the fee will be returned in full including material costs. Refunds will be by OPCAAW check.

If a student cancels the following will apply:

If 4 or more students are enrolled, then the fee will be returned minus processing fees

(usually $5.00), material costs may not be returned, decision of instructor.

If only 3 students are enrolled, and a student cancels then no refund will be provided unless someone else signs up prior to class starting.

We don't want to cancel a class for the other students.

We will try to return the fee, if at all possible, but the club (OPCAAW) cannot be losing money on putting these classes on.
