Class: Introduction to Multi-axis Turning -Tim Larson - 11/17/24

Tim will instruct the class on how to set up and turn multi-axis items on the lathe.
Multi-axis items that will be turned are a weed pot, three-sided tool handle, table leg and more if time allows.
Wood will be provided by the instructor.
Club owned turning tools, chucks and misc, tools are available for use by the students.
If you have the following, please bring them:
A face shield, Safety Glasses or both.
A turning smock or a shirt or sweatshirt with tight-fitting cuffs
Comfortable non-slip shoes, preferably not sandals
Drinking Water to keep yourself hydrated throughout the day.
A lunch and/or snack food, there are a few places close by to purchase lunch.
Class starts at 9am and setup is at 8am, please show up early to help setup if possible.
If class is full, please sign up anyway to get on the waiting list, then it someone cancels we can contact next person in line or schedule another class if enough interest is shown.
