    This class we'll try something new.

    Turning a hole less (on the top) salt and pepper shaker set, purse mirror and pill, toothpick or money pocket box.

    Tools that we'll be using include spindle roughing gouge, skew, spindle gouge, parting tool and some scrapers.

    If you have the following, please bring them, Forstner bits in 1/2", 5/8" and 1.5", spring calipers and sandpaper 240 to 400.

    A face shield, Safety Glasses or both.
    A turning smock or a shirt or sweatshirt with tight-fitting cuffs
    Comfortable non-slip shoes, preferably not sandals
    Drinking Water to keep yourself hydrated throughout the day.
    A lunch and/or snack food, there are a few places close by to purchase lunch.

    Class starts at 9am and setup is at 8am, please show up early to help setup if possible.
    The wood blanks and mirrors will be provided.

    Tones will provide his vast knowledge of designing and turning finials.

    Tools that will be used are spindle roughing gouge, spindle gouge, parting tool and skew.

    If you plan on turning Xmas ornaments or hollow forms this is a must attend class.

    Tones will also (time permitting) do a short demo on turning Xmas globe ornaments and will have his hollowing tool for sale.

    If you have the following, please bring them,

    A face shield, Safety Glasses or both.
