Regular Meeting - Steve Bartocci Talks Wood

The January monthly meeting of OPCAAW will feature a talk by Kirkland's Steve Bartocci, "The Board Hoarder." Steve will talk about exotic and domestic wood and will conduct a Q&A during which you can get your wood questions answered. It will be a treasure trove of information about woods of the world, and Steve will be bringing along some wood that is seldom seen in our area to discuss and sell. He will have wood for sale at the meeting.
The featured talk will allow time for the Christmas Feast Gift Raffle to take place. The raffle was postponed from the party because the tickets that form the basis for the raffle weren't present.
In addition to Steve's presentation and the raffle, there will be announcements, Show and Tell and the wood auction. Members will also have access to our library and to sandpaper and CA glue sales.
Gathering starts at 6 p.m. Announcements begin at 6:30.
