This class registration is for people on the waiting list for the goblet class. They will have until 01/03/25 to register, then I'll open registration to the public. Please don't register if you are not on the list and notified.

The class will be taught by Jim Leary, one of OPCAAW's longtime mentors. Jim will take students through the process of creating a goblet on the lathe. All the tools you need will be provided and the materials fee will cover the cost of the goblet blank.  The class will be held at the West Side Improvement Club, Bremerton WA,

Some turning experience is suggested.

The class fee is $50 for OPCAAW members and $80 for non-members, which includes a one-year membership in OPCAAW.

A face shield, Safety Glasses or both.
A turning smock or a shirt or sweatshirt with tight-fitting cuffs
Comfortable non-slip shoes, preferably not sandals
Drinking Water to keep yourself hydrated throughout the day.
A lunch and/or snack food, there are a few places close by to purchase lunch.

Class starts at 9am and setup is at 8am, please show up early to help setup if possible.
