Jimmie Allen’s April 24 class on box making is full and there is a waiting list of four people.
We have tentatively scheduled classes on making natural edged bowls for May 29 and long-stemmed goblets for June 26.
It is the desire of the club to make you aware of our plans for upcoming classes, but please keep in mind that classes are only tentatively scheduled until they are confirmed by an email blast that announces registration is open. You cannot pre-register for a class that’s posted on the calendar as the final decision on offering the class is not made until the month before the class is scheduled. It is our practice to announce the next month’s class at each regular meeting, with the email invitation to apply going out a day or two after each month’s regular meeting.
The $30 fee for members is designed to cover the overhead of providing the classes. Non-members pay a $60 fee, which includes an individual annual membership so that everyone who takes a class is a club member and is covered by our insurance policy. Each class also has a materials fee based on the actual cost of materials to be used by class participants.
