OPCAAW’s October Class is Full

If you had hopes of signing up for our October 30 class on making Christmas ornaments, we have to announce that the class is full.

The Oct. 30 class is the last class that OPCAAW will be offering in 2022. Our classes will resume in the new year, with the first class of 2023 tentatively scheduled for Jan. 29, 2023. The topic for that class has not yet been determined.

If you are interested in seeing OPCAAW offer a class on a specific subject in the future, please contact Roger Dunn, our Vice President for Training, with that request. George Kromka will be taking over responsibility for planning our classes in 2023, and Roger is responsible for all of our training and education efforts.

The OPCAAW board is proud to have been able to add a schedule of woodturning classes to our offerings for members during the past year as it is an important part of our club mission. The classes have been made possible by generous donations that allowed us to purchase a new set of lathes and turning tools as well as the generosity of club members who have volunteered to teach the classes.
